This vest is worked completely in the round from bottom up and shaped using steeks. After the completion of the body, armholes and neck steeks are cut, then stitches are picked up around each opening and trimmed with 1×1 ribbing using Trim Color. The sample shown was knit using a self-striping handspun yarn, and a solid wool tweed – experimentation is encouraged when choosing stripe and trim colors!
